Parka - Better Anyway
You have most likely had this feeling once or twice (and a few more times) over the years but I’ll explain anyway. Imagine in the pub, you have a few drinks, and a few more and few more after that. Then plays that one song that gets the entire pub screaming the chorus and catchy hooks while you have no idea who actually sings the song.
I can tell you now, its Parka. The electric beat is so catchy it attracts many listeners, and drunks. The vocals are so typically British and husky that they stand out for sounding more live than pre recorded as most tracks do; as if a live band on a pub stage. The harmonies work so well chanting that you can’t help being pulled in and under hypnosis. By the end of the song you’ll be singing along and having a jolly ol’ time.
The other two tracks on the release however are much quieter and softer.
