Operator Please - Get What You Want
They have recently won an Australian ARIA award for Best Breakthrough artist, they have supported amazing bands like the Artic Monkeys, Maximo Park and the Kaiser Chiefs on tour, they have played at both the Leeds and Reading Carling Weekend and they have travelled from one end of the UK to the other with their very own tour planted well under their belts. However, the most important thing to remember about Operator Please is that they have a great pop punk track in the form of ‘Get What You Want’.
The female fronted vocalist, Amandah, belts out an outstanding chorus of “coz you don’t always get what you want”. This is something that would not be a miss from a gig, especially with a fast paced chorus. With visions of pink and purple lights flashing over the band and through to my mind, this is a track not to be messed with.
