We Are Scientists - Chick Lit
A band with a very odd name since neither is what they claim they are, but what they are is tremendous musicians. We Are Scientists have toured with artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Maxïmo Park and Kaiser Chiefs so it is no wonder they have produced such an amazing track with ‘Chick Lit’.
Taken from the bands third album ‘Brain Thrust Mastery’ the track begins with a flowing beat and Keith Murray’s vocals gracefully floating on top at same pace. As the two become intertwined and blend extremely well together, the song develops more feeling with the drumbeat and guitar. Towards the end the Keith Murray/Chris Cain harmonies may be faint but add a lot of emotion.
They may have formed around the time of the millennium, but 2008 is going to be the year for We Are Scientists.
