This album shines as 'Bright As Midnight'...well midday actually

The Circuits have been one of the music industries most hidden talents. With a gradually developing Myspace fan base, international stardom and success slowly creeping up on them, they offer up their debut album ‘Bright as Midnight’.

After the release of a couple of well-received singles, Japan absolutely loving them and a sound we haven’t heard so well rounded for ages, the explosive melodies, raunchy rhythms and engaging soulful indie-pop tunes on this record become a wonderful mix for a debut.

You may recognise the single ‘The Choir Invisible’, which still remains incredibly catchy, very explosive and stylish; much like the remainder of the album. Then there is the youthful ‘City of Lights’, the quick sharp busts of energy in the anthemic ‘Exit Strategy’, the electric slice of uniqueness that drives ‘Young Enough Not To Care’, the soulful ‘Welcome to the End’ and the heartfelt spice in ‘Before it’s Over’. The accumulation of the bands fiery persistence, unpredictable potential, outstanding determination and liveliness make an impact with each and every track.

The edgy ‘A Question Mark Shaped Heart’ is one of the more rugged tracks present on this release, which in comparison to anxious and more emotional ‘Welcome To The End’, the acoustic setting upon which ‘A Thousand Ideas’ is built and the fast paced jumpy concluding track ‘Say No Say Yeah’ shows how well rounded this album can get.

There is some powerful song writing gone into creating this record, and this is ignites Benny’s fresh, unique and innovative vocals. Circuits are in all accounts not short on the ambition front. Already making a huge impact in various parts of the world, they look set to construct a name and an impact upon their homeland after this demonstration of passion for all things musical.

With a previous knowledge of the dynamic and vigorous live sets these guys can put on, be warned that this charismatic band are going to be a much appreciated influence upon the mainstream music industry. Remember the name, as you are going to love them.
