Twisted Wheel - You Stole The Sun EP
On the back of playing T in the Park and Oxegen Festivals, Manchester / Oldham trio release a limited edition numbered vinyl EP “You Stole The Sun”.
Starting with the EP title track you get a great introduction what Twisted Wheel are about, a great fun sound with almost rock-a-billy drum style. The second track on the A side is a live version of “Let Them Have It All” which includes a great instrumental towards the end.
The B side sees two gems of demos in “Racket” and “Whats Your Name” both worthy of being released exactly as they are with the spirit of punk, some pretty good lyrics and fun foot tapping music which makes this EP worth every penny. It has been played over and over here!
With a few gigs in the Manchester and Yorkshire areas coming up and an afternoon slot at this years Reading and Leeds Festival, would be hard to think there is a better band to see at that time and coupled with the backing of a good label the near future may well see Twisted Wheel breakthrough nationwide.
