Not too shabby.
More interesting than most dance acts, Cut Copy never-the-less, do have their off days and this 8 track single could be one of them depending on your point of view. An old school sounding house track with a super camp early 90s garage anthem feel to it relying on staccato drums, heavy bass and cheesy samples that hark back to the heady days of club favourites Bizarre Inc. This is one of those love it or hate it tracks, the retro feel will either bring back good memories or irritate, but if you’re new to the sound it should be interesting enough to suck you in. Overall, it’s pretty cheesy but it is still an uplifting tune that gets your feet moving and it has a brilliant video to accompany it.
