Dark electro.
Opening like Dresden Dolls younger sister in a compromising position with Annie Lenox, this single has an off kilter fairground feel with an oompah beat and keyboard heavy melody. This is a dark goth synth-pop tune with an 80s feel • the solo work of Chris Corner (Sneaker Pimps), a favourite of the Mighty Boosh mob and you can really hear why when you listen; the off kilter slightly queasy rolling beats and dark tone are perfect fodder for one of their episodes. Pretty interesting stuff and even though it seems a little too stylised, the track actually leaves you wanting to hear more. The moody atmosphere and haunting vocals certainly make a change from the usual electro twaddle.
