‘This Is My Town’ is the debut single from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne quintet and it is one of the finest creations of music since Bon Jovi’s early work.
You may think I am being a little nutty with my comparisons but I honestly cannot praise this band enough for their musical creations, as they are absolutely brilliant. Don’t get e wrong, they sound nothing like Bon Jovi, but have the same exhilarating, influential and authoritative atmosphere. This song in particular has a hard-hitting guitar riff that pierces through your heart and finds its way into your mind. The chorus is incredibly powerful and makes for a wonderful sing-a-long, drowned in sound, vibrant component that pulls you in inch-by-inch until you are grasped and begging for more.
The band embarked on there first ever London date last month and it was superb. If you like the sound of what you are hearing wait until you hear the album, you’ll be breathless.
