Punk Rock Oi, Oi Oi!
On the back of their debut album, ‘New Frustration’ earlier in the year, and then the ‘Last Orders EP’ in June, Leeds Punk Rockers Guns On The Roof are back with new single, ‘On The Brink’. It’s another great slice of Street Punk that the band have become renown for, building up with chunky guitars to a great sing-a-long chorus. GOTR have always been a band that don’t have mediocre songs and ‘On The Brink’ is another one of these. Possibly not quite as catchy as the band’s signature tune, ‘Last Orders’, but it still packs a great punch, and is a highly enjoyable Rockin’ Rebel Rouser!
Currently GOTF are on tour, as they have been since forever, and it’s this sort of dedication that will see the band succeed. They have toured with the great Strawberry Blondes, The Dead Kennedys, The U.K. Subs, and Ska/Punks Fandangle, whilst next month they have a couple of dates with 4ft Fingers. Punk rock is still alive!
