Popular Workshop - Reptilians
The London based three pronged power pop band Popular Workshop, or as they like to call them selves “Popshop”, release their second single from their soon to be released debut album 'We’re Alive, And We’re Not Alone'.
Reptilians is slightly more melodic than you are used to with the boys but the impressive sound that has left those lucky enough to have seen them live in awe is there in abundance, along with a hint of feedback that works perfectly. Lead singers, Gypsy, vocals make the record sound very cheery despite the lyrics being about being down. In fact the whole song leaves you with a smile.
Popular Workshop are one of the best up and coming bands to see live in the capital right now and their gig at one of London’s hidden secrets of a venue, The Fox in Lewisham on 25th October, looks to be a corker with support from the formidable King of Conspiracy and Brighton’s 4 or 5 Magicians is not one to miss.
