Catch This Tune...
‘Catch This Disease’ is an electronically wired alternative rock tune, created by the minds of five lads based in Hertfordshire and named Model Horror.
This single actually mixes some pretty decent sounds. Alternative guitars and crashing drums with a hidden electronic hazing buried in the background, what more could you ask for from lads in their (very) early twenties. The vocals aren’t typically what I thought would be attached to this tune. They are not heavy spoken with a cockney accent or rolling off the tongue in lyrical lines. Pure and simply put they are average Joe’s vocals with a bit of talent.
The second track on this CD ‘Lead The Way’ is pretty similar in sounds, but less organised and more chaotic. I have listened to some of the bands other material on Myspace and ‘Catch This Disease’ seems to be one of the finest tracks on there.
