Howling Bells - Into The Chaos
I am not sure what it is with Howling Bells, for a while I thought they were stalking me, well it seemed every gig I went to they were supporting including seeing Editors in Germany over three years ago. Now I hear they are going to play SXSW next year, obviously just for me.
Anyway, being honest I have never been a fan of Juanita Stein, who I have already said has a great vocal talent, and co's music despite one of my friends attempts to brain wash me virtually every day but I have to say the more I listen to 'Into The Chaos' the more I feel that I'll maybe, just maybe, give them another try.
'Into The Chaos', taken from the second album due in February, is a quirky little number that my feet have been tapping to throughout the verses along with the rhythmatic drums. The chorus sees Juanita sing in a harmonic sensual style.
Limited to only 500 copies worldwide, they are going to disappear fast. This may be the song that convinces me Howling Bells will be welcome to stalk me anytime.
