The Kings Blues hitting the spot
You may have already heard of London based band the King Blues as they have been making quite an impact on the music industry over recent months. Recently they played a few gigs in association with The Big Issue; buy a copy and get free entry. This had something to do with one of the band member’s history and his connection with magazine.
Their recent single, ‘Save the World, Save The Girl’ is the title track from the band's second album release. With this song the lads create a mix of many styles of music, more dominantly Punk and Reggae with some easy listening vibes. There are some excellent melodies present, the sort that certainly grab your attention and get you hooked and wanting to hear more.
For any London based listener this song will probably hit home more due to the references of Camden Town and Elephant and Castle, it sort of takes you on the road with the band, while adding the occasional film reference. This is a great track to listen to and after hearing it once I will be looking into hearing more…
