Not to be forgotten
Slashed Seat Affair has described their music as “lip smacking, groove drenching, dirty tasting, riff arresting, drum splitting, amp blasting, siren singing, rock popping…” which in all is quite accurate. The band is based around the remarkable song writing partnership of lead singer Ellie Mules and bass player Darren Michael and completed by guitarist Noel Martin and drummer Rob Meehan.
The debut single ‘Forget You’ has some excellent pop rock melodies emitting some lively vibes while the gentle echoed guitar riffs and vibrant drumming really compliment the overall mysterious ambiance of the song. The track holds quite an intensified centre that gradually enters and acoustic setting before climaxing gracefully; it is really quite a tune.
Slashed Seat Affair has been getting a lot of hype and mainstream UK radio exposure in recent months. Their debut album will be released in the spring and will likely be full of creations just as equal to this tune.
