No More Lies and a lot more fun
There have been very few songs I have reviewed that have made such an impact on me as ‘No More Lies’, the new single from female fronted four-piece Slashed Seat Affair.
It is singer songwriter Ellie Mules, a musician like no other who fronts this UK indie pop rock band. The main thing that stands out on this track is her vocal ability; it's consistent and she doesn't attempt to push her voice beyond its capability as some female vocalists try to. Her writing partner and fellow friends complete the band.
‘No More Lies’ is a top quality catchy song with high-class rhythms that gives a very warming impression. Ever heard a song and thought that with the right images/visual representations this would make the perfect soundtrack on a film. ‘No More Lies’ could accompany any teen comedy very well. It is a great song and I can’t wait for the release of the album, I’m sure it has many more treats in store.
