Isa & The Filthy Tongues - New Town Killers
Isa & The Filthy Tongues release their new single 'New Town Killers', which is the lead track from the new Dougray Scott film by the same title which is due out soon. The new single is a little different than their usual songs as it features the film's director, Richard Jobson, formerly lead singer of The Skids on lead vocals and Stacey Chavis taking a back seat on backing vocals.
The song still has the same haunting rock we are used to with the Edinburgh quartet; a slow brewing anthemic style of a song, (reminiscent to that of Depeche Mode), which fades out just as it hits its peak. It is good to see that Isa & The Filthy Tongues, who have been quiet of late, are still producing good stuff and hope more of the same will follow soon, with or without Richard Jobson on vocals.
