Wind Down Your Windows
The chart displayed behind the second stage that lets security know how violent a crowd are going to be suggests that a large crowd is expected at the second stage for The Dogs’ set. Taking a quick look around certainly confirms this as the crowd seem to dwarf the fairly large tent.

As rising stars Dogs Die In Hot Cars walk on to take their place on the Radio One stage, you can tell that they’ve learnt something about performing in just the month-or-so since their Scottish T in the Park appearance. They’ve gained confidence, stage presence and have more impact than they have ever had before.
With the crowd squashed tightly against the barrier and cheering their way through every song – it’s clear that Dogs Die In Hot Cars are progressing to the big leagues and are no longer just a cheesy catch phrase from an RSPCA poster.

As killer riffs, pounding bass and searing vocals ring through the tent – there is no doubt that Dogs Die In Hot Cars are finally starting to get the recognition they deserve. Expect to see more of the band coming to a main stage near you in 2005’s festival season – but please do remember that dogs do, actually, die in hot cars – wind down your windows.
