Hyped Metallers Strike Wolves
Sikth have their own experimental type of sound a bit like System Of A Down meets Mr Bungle and Dillinger Escape Plan. Their set starts off slow with a subdued intro, and then Mikee bellows "Pussyfoot!" From then on it steps up a gear, and the whole dance floor turns into a complete mess. They play some new songs which are well received, but the highlights are "Hold My Finger" and "Skies of a Millennium Night". They are really talented musicians and the guitarist drills out some great complex riffs at a fast pace. It's going to be interesting to see which direction Sikth go onto for the next album - 'til then, I wait in anticipation.
