Wire Daisies
My apologies before I go any further because there are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe this band’s live performance. But just to suffice it is one of the best gigs from I have seen from a new band in years. They performed so well together, despite all the problems that the venue gave them they overcame them with much aplomb.

They are a very relaxed band that play so well together, and the acoustic indie sound is a live and well with the Wire Daisies. The hauntingly stunning vocals of Treana Morris sear above the crowd and touch everyone that hears her sing.

They moved quickly through their half hour set, playing music of the highest quality. Not only showcasing themselves but their talents which are on display via their debut album ‘Just Another Day’ and their current single ‘Butterfly’.

The set included the single ‘Butterfly’ as well as ‘Make Everything Change’ and ‘Everyman’ while closing with the newly written ‘Morning Bow’, a song, which they dedicated to a friend of theirs.
I cannot describe how brilliant they are live; words actually fail me, which is quiet unusual. Every member of the band enjoyed playing; you could see that from the expressions on their faces. The crowd loved them, and wanted to know where to get hold of the album at the end of the set.
Playing the live music scene in Cornwall has certainly helped this band as they have a fantastic stage presence. All I can say is if they are playing a small venue near you soon, get along and hear them. This is one band that will soon be moving on up to a big stage. They have the talent, they have the songs, and they can play. You cannot help but love the Wire Daisies their music gets under your skin and you just cant help wanting to hear them again and again.
Go out get the album – see them live and you too will love the Wire Daisies.
