Jericho is Back!
I've been looking forward to the Fozzy set with some trepidation. I'd heard about the band through a friend, and knew their reputation - how can you not with a frontman like Chris Jericho. One of wrestling's better known superstars, Jericho clearly knows how to work a crowd and this set isn't any different. Before we've even begun, there is clear anticipation in the crowd, and there are chants of 'Fozzy bear' ringing all around the Snickers Stage. Obviously a lot of people here are both metal and wrestling fans.

As for the music, we're given classic metal and nothing more. But today, for these guys at least, it's not all about the music - which is pretty standard stuff, albeit technically proficient - it's about the personalities. It's about the stage show they're giving us which is so fun and entertaining it's almost a shame that the set ends. And the crowd love it, responding to all of the call-and-responses that Jericho initiates. The metal that these boys play is made for live performance, and it's hard not to join in with the rest of the crowd.

Not everybody was impressed though with one guy coming out of the stadium saying 'This is the shittest thing I've ever seen - and I've seen Bowling for Soup'. For me though, Fozzy know how to make a good impression but I just wish Jericho hadn't kept going 'oi oi oi' through virtually every single song.
