The US bombs the world - this time with Senses Fail!

(Regarding the subject: I have just spent the past 10 minutes trying to make up something funny. After running through jokes about your sense of hearing loving the show, despite all other senses failing, etc, I give up!)

Senses Fail are really quite an amazing band to behold. The first support band are usually nothing too special, but Senses Fail quickly get the crowd going, despite their obscurity. They've captured the post-hardcore sound which is the new black for 2004, and it comes across well live - emotive music and powerful lyrics quickly send a great atmosphere infecting the crowd like an epidemic. The stage presence is great, and is mainly focused through their vocalist, Buddy Nielsen, who sports a long haired mohican and appears to be some kind of lunatic. But that's music for you - what extremo band would seriously be complete without a deranged singer leaping around the stage? Senses Fail clearly have all the gears in place to get the measureable fame engine started, and tonight they've certainly put some oil in the works by expanding their fanbase. My compatriot at the gig, Catriona, agrees fully with everything mentioned here.
