Finch

Finch are one of the few bands that you see and cannot categorise them in to one simple grouping. Their live performance ranges from slow melodies to what could almost be thrash metal, then back again. The juxtaposition works well and unlike other bands doesn't seem forced at all. It should be a good set.

The crowd have just been prepared for a good day and everyone is starting to wake up as Finch come on the stage to cheers. The set simply seems to be there - not taking anyone by storm. For anyone who was not already a Finch fan this set would appear somewhat boring and it is shown in the crowd. The fans are enjoying themselves and loving hearing their favourite tunes thrown out one after another - whilst everyone else is simply standing watching the set with only partial attention.

This band could have done much more justice to their music and unfortunatley failed to deliver as well as they could have. Overall - the music was well performed but the set just did not entice non-Finchers in to their emo-metal-rock-punk world.
