Bowling For Soup

These four pop-punkers hailing from texas are playing to a lathargic crowd. It is the first morning of the festival and most people are hungover from the antics of Thursday night or simply haven't managed to wake up properly. Bowling For Soup take the stage by storm this morning and delivery a punch set ranging from their well-known chat-toppers "The Bitch Song", "Emily" and "Girl All The Bad Guys Want" through to tracks that only their true fans will know.

The whole set is one of fun and great enjoyment - it works. The crowd are woken up and really put in to the spirit of the rest of the day. Today is very much the fun punk-esque bands and Bowling For Soup certainly know how to get everyone involved including a chant of "We Love Fat People" in regards to their festively plump guitarist Chris.

This is a good set, and a fun set that everyone gets invovled in. This is a band that is used to playing venues with capacities of under a thousand and they certainly manage to impress a crowd ten times that size. They interact with the crowd and perform well... unfortunatley no matter how large Chris is their stage presence is not yet good enough to warrant a higher rating. Saying that, they put some of the other longer-established bands to shame.
