Amazing Outfits and Great Music

Set the scene...Friday night, Islington's Carling Academy, 100's of fans, piercings, tattoos, loud music...it can only be Send more Paramedics, just one of the support acts for the Tiger Army gig. Let me put it this way, if the music was any louder, they would have literally had to send more paramedics for all the fans going home with hearing loss. One thing has to be said for these guys, they go ALL out on stage. Their presence made the audience go wild. Where most bands dress a little more comfortablly, yet stylish when on stage, these guys do things a little differently; they dressed as zombies! A round of applause for effort fellas.

Unfortunately, there was a draw back. So much effort seemed to go into the make up and dress; yet not much though went into the actual music. The instruments were very loud, so loud in fact that it was near to impossible to understand what the lead singer was singing, or screaming, about. At times when the music was lower, he was still shouting so much into the microphone that it was still impossible to make any sense of the purpose behind the song...all they seemed to get across was anger. Fellas, when it comes to your own gig, give a thought to all elements of a show, and not just what you look like. If you could sing as well as you looked, you'd do great!
