Better than ever before
When it comes to reviewing a band, many have a habit of looking at the stage, how the band sings, play and bounce around in their performance to get an overall idea of how well, or not so well they present their music. On this occasion, as well as all the musical elements that came together to make the set complete, the crowd played a large role in creating just the right atmospheric conditions to make the set memorable.
The difference between the crowd was something of notice on this occasion. From mid teens to thirties and from guys to gals, Attack! Attack! was able to lure crowds of all sorts to their show. Here, girls and guys were hypnotised by the music, bounding around, jumping and clapping to the more upbeat songs such as ‘You and Me’ while waving their arms from side to side on the slower ones. One particular girl thought to show her affection to the band with a blow up green dragon and banner, others stuck to taking photographs on mobiles and cameras. One thing the majority did have in common was their passion and dedication to singing along. The chorus of ‘From Now On’ and that of ‘Honestly’ were just two songs that got everyone singing.
When attention was turned to the point of origin for all the commotion, Attack! Attack! and their performance, an understanding of why the crowd act in such a way is created. Attack! Attack! was loud, driven by the music and crafted by some very enthusiastic musicians. They were able to put all their energies into powering some heavy guitar riffs, while draw energies from the crowd to make their set even more static.
