Twenty Twenty play the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire

Twenty Twenty has been trying to put themselves into the lives and minds of as many people as possible over the last few months. They have been seen at various venues handing out flyers and chatting to music lovers about their own music and were kind enough to give away a hundred or so tickets to this performance at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.

Astounded, flabbergasted and honestly surprised was the reaction felt as these three fellas performed; and the band seemed to be as shocked as I was at the reaction of the crowd. Through the entire performance the crowd were in full swing, jumping, waving their arms and singing as loud as their little voices could. The crowd was so attached to the band and into the music that they actually booed when it was announced they would play their last tune.

As for the band, lead singer/guitarist Sam had a huge smile on his face though every moment of their performance showing his excitement and delight at playing and appreciation for the crowds support. Mixing pop melodies with a side helping of rock greatness through tracks such as ‘Just As We Begin To Smile’ and ‘Story Of Our Lives’, these three are some of the more ambitious and well-performed musicians the industry has on offer at the minute.
