Like a ripe banana: Lowfive!
The Mean Fiddler is looking pretty empty for a Friday night as Lowfive take to the stage, but the people who have made the effort to arrive early are in for a treat.

Lowfive radiate the cool found when a band discover their sound. Sometimes its not their own, but once they find it, its their's for the keeping. In Lowfive’s case, it certainly is - screamo choruses reside against American sunshine guitars, with a healthy dose of feisty bass playing to boot, but it’s more the way they deliver their music that makes Lowfive so special. They conduct themselves in the correct manner for a band of their size. They’re thankful to the people in attendance but do not grovel - they’re safe in the knowledge that if they don’t break the UK in the next five minutes it won’t matter all that much, because they’re good enough to break it in due time.
In short, Lowfive play with the slick, slightly cocky and totally cool feel that only America can breed into music. This is good time, sunshine rock which is loud enough to kick some ass. You can guarantee that this band are going to swell up in size like a ripe banana.
