These Ghosts at Latitude Festival 2010

After 3 gloriously sunny days of music at one of the greatest festivals in the world, I’ve decided that weather forecasts are no more credible than quack doctors and juju.
Kicking off with local boys These Ghosts on the open air Lake Stage, their Latitude premiere was looking to be exciting. Performing songs from their debut album ‘You Are Not Lost, You Are Here’, the crowds flocked and gazed in awe at the fresh meat. Creating a big sound for just three members of beautiful dream-pop/post-rock, the picnic-ers stood up and pushed their way forward as lead singer Calum Duncan looked pleasantly surprised to be playing to an audience so large he could no longer see the whites of their eyes.
The three-piece commanded the stage - people new to the band were hypnotised by masterful bass, beguiling guitar and vocals and powerful, consummate drumming.
Exiting the stage to roars of approval, the band ensured a great start to a great festival.
