Poppy puppy power...
It is a warm summer's evening and after three absolutely stunning bands have taken to the stage and received such gracious applause from the crowd, out came the main act that were welcomed in much the same manner.
Room 94 is a powerfully energetic, effervescent and incredibly enthusiastic band. Considering the age of such young talent, they were more than able to entertain not only the teens among the sell out crowd, but the individuals that were slightly older. You could tell by the determined looks on the faces of each of them they were there to give a night of entertaining music performed to the best of their ability, which they certainly did. With no album currently available, but an EP of six tracks making the rounds, the bands unrelenting power pop drills into your mind and refuses to budge. Probably the most unforgettable being 'Rockstar' as this one the entire crowd were singing along with.
After listening to the music the guys have available on their Myspace, as bouncy and bubbly as it is, it doesn't live up the vigorous live performance the fellas are capable of putting on. If you are out and about this summer and looking for something catchy, energetic and incredibly bouncy, then listen out for Room 94, as they will make an evening you will not to be forgetting in a hurry.
