Clockwork Orange Styled Rock
It’s a well known fact that InMe fans will jump along to any band…except Hiding Place. The five members swagger onto the stage. The crowd cheers, the lights dim. The first string is touched. It seems so good, that is, until the lead singer starts to sing. I just the term ‘sing’ loosely, the only word that really suits is noise.
Remember the scene in A Clockwork Orange with the cattle trough? That image floated into my head within a few seconds of the first collection of noise... I mean, song. It’s almost as though the real artists are backstage, torturing some poor sod by forcing him to recite poorly written lyrics whilst they beat the water filled cattle trough in which his head is immersed in. Art indeed. The crowd do not appear to be impressed.
