Adding New Fans To The Fold
As LostAlone take to the stage the LG Arena is filling at a steady pace. Indeed many are already inside, so eager is the anticipation for tonight's headliners giving the English trio the chance to win over a fair few new fans.
With their bass heavy blend of rock that oozes an avalanche of infectious guitar riffs, LostAlone offer up a mix of easy access rock that quickly gets heads nodding along and feet moving. Reluctant to stand still for too long frontman Steven Battelle and bassist Alan Williamson zig zag across the stage, throwing every ounce of energy into their set and fortunately for them tonight the ever increasing crowd inside the LG Arena are only more than happy to show their appreciation.
Confessing that he hasn't had the best of days, Battelle bravely admits that he wasn't really expecting such a great reception and that it has truly turned his day around. From some bands such a statement would have seemed a touch cheesy, a mere cliché to get the crowd on side but there is an honesty about the Derby trio that instantly adheres them to you and as Battelle leads the band into their current single, 'Paradox On Earth', it is clear that tonight they have welcomed more than a handful of new fans into their world.
