Destine play the O2 Academy Islington

Destine first made an impression with UK crowds when they released their debut album 'Lightspeed'. This cheeky combination of poppy rock went down a treat and left listeners thirsty for more. More came recently when the Destine lads teamed up with Welsh rockers Attack! Attack! on their recent UK tour, hitting the O2 Islington Academy main stage for a night of fantastic music.

The album is a brilliant listen on any occasion - whether it is to cheer you up or compliment a smooth running day; when listening to it you can drift away to their upbeat numbers, bopping your head. However, being able to see these guys perform the tracks in all their glory was even better, the atmosphere was electric and you couldn't keep still or drift away as they grasped and maintained your attention and mesmerised you in the process. They gave the performance everything they had to offer to make the night an enjoyable and memorable one, aiming to captivate along the way and they did. Performing live to an adoring crowd certainly agreed with Destine, they rocked out with an edgy set while the crowd went crazy for the bands talent. They were able to balance out the perfect combination of poppy guitar melodies, tougher riffs rocketing though and some brilliant vocal contributions.

This performance by Destine was an impressive one and hopefully they will be back on UK shores very soon with their own headline tour and a new album.
