Nell Bryden Returns

The Brooklyn Blonde bombshell, Nell Bryden, hit London once again with this low key industry showcase at the BBC Club to preview her sophomore album, Shake The Tree, which is due to be released 18th June.

Five tracks of the seven song set are from the new album and on this evidence it is going to be a belter. Fingerprints and Mercy On Me are the perfect songs to highlight Nell Bryden's powerful vocal range, while Sirens proves softer vocals for a more thought provoking song work just as well.

But it was the title track from the forthcoming album that truly stole the show. Shake The Tree is an awesome blues rock song that had the crowd, that included BBC radio presenters, producers, PR people and plenty of journalists nodding their heads in unison to the thumping riffs.

With a personality larger than life and talent to match, Nell Bryden stands on the edge of greatness and deservedly so. We now cannot wait for the 18th June and to get our hands on the album.

You can catch Nell Bryden live when she supports Duane Eddy across the UK this month and a headline show at London's Borderline in June. The full tour dates are at www.nellbryden.com
