Bleed From Within at Hit The Deck
Bleed From Within are fast becoming the rising stars of the British Metal scene, so it's no surprise that during the lead up to their set, chants of "Bleed From Within!" filled The Fleece.
Their set was colossal from the first chord to the last; frontman Scott Kennedy didn't stay still for a second and was happy to crowd surf or jump into the middle of the crowd.
The Glaswegian metallers command attention as the throw out killer hooks, riffs and mighty drumming. Guitarists Craig Gowans and Martyn Evans spent the vast majority of their set in a dual windmill frenzy; how they didn't end up with a pounding headache, I do not know.
Bleed From Within's set was full of energy from beginning to end and that energy was coming from both the band and the crowd, who happily formed circle pits throughout the bands precise but somewhat short set. Definitely a band to check out on their next tour.
