Slash - World On Fire Tour

Tuesday night saw guitar legend Slash make a welcome return to London to play his largest show to date with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators in this city.

Rapturous spread across Wembley Stadium as the band entered the stage, no time was wasted in launching into You're A Lie; the angry rock song was quickly followed by Guns N' Roses' fan favourite Nightrain.

Myles Kennedy once again proved to be an amazing vocalist, a vocalist who gives a the sort of vocal performance when singing Axl Rose lyrics that the flame haired singer himself can only dream of. Bassist Todd Kerns gave a stellar vocal performance during Doctor Alibi and You're Crazy.

A highlight of the night came in the form of Slash's lengthy guitar solo during Rocket Queen which lasted for well over ten minutes yet did not become tedious. It is that showmanship and amazing talent that has made Slash an inspiration to so many guitar players and an international rock icon.

Despite Slash achieving great success with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators; his new album World On Fire reached the top 10 in album charts both in the UK and US, he still gives a nod to his Guns N' Roses roots by including a handful of their songs in his set, which needless to say, goes down a treat with his adoring fans.

The killer show was perfectly wrapped up by two confetti guns firing all over the crowd whilst Slash, Myles and The Conspirators played an awesome rendition of Paradise City which proved exactly why Slash has made it to arena status as a solo artists.

Slash, Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators never fail to impress, their showmanship and musicianship are second to none, as a unit they are solid and work incredibly well as one which is no mean feat considering bumps Slash's former bands have experienced.
