Julian Clarey Would Be Proud
There are some bands that you have heard of – yet have not heard. Chikinki are one of these bands for most people. After Kasabian depart, so does a large portion of the crowd – leaving Chikinki fans and the curious.

With hand gestures and phrases such as “Oh my! The sun’s out!” – one can only assume that Big Gay Al from South Park would be jealous of Chikinki’s front man Trevor. Maybe even Julian Clarey would be slightly envious – it’s a tough one there though.

The set just exists, it doesn’t capture my attention. It doesn’t inspire me. It certainly doesn’t leave me wanting more. My attention wanders and I can’t help but wander how Chikinki are higher on the bill than Kasabian.

The electro-pop sound that is emanating from the stage thankfully comes to an end and whilst fans have the occasional smile – the “music” is lost on everyone else.
Five years from now? Chikink-who?
