Just Not Quite There

Saturday morning at Leeds means one thing. Most people have spent two nights in the Aftershock tent and the hangovers are starting to hit in. Most people are stll in bed, but Infrasound bring in a fairly decent crowd – all being considered.

Opening with their last single, ‘Fire In The City’ – you immediately get an English vibe from this band as soon as vocals are emitted from the PA. As bands go, Infrasound are good. They are better than that – Infrasound have proven that they are skilled live performers that deserve to be taken seriously and not just discarded along with a lot of bands that grace the smallest stages of festivals.

Despite all this, they are still a band that are in their infancy and whilst they’re performance has the odd moment that leaves the hairs on your neck standing, they are also a band that need time to mature.

See them in a Barfly venue and you’ll be in for a treat but they currently leave an already small stage seeming empty.
