Humanity Return
Despite their set starting late after the difficulties with the stage in the morning, the progressive metal band from Cambridge, Humanity gave a high energy and popular performance to a growing crowd as more metal fans arrived for Saturday’s line up.

Although the difficulties with the PA system continued for them, Simon Shadwell’s vocals gave a great range through their changing styles from tones of thrash to pure metal moments.

Whatever technical difficulties the band were dealing with, the enthusiastic performances of Steve Wallace and Richard Hall on guitar could not be faulted, with their sheer energy drawing the crowd into their set as they played material from their album 'When Silence Calls'.

Chris Le Mottee on bass and the drumming of Alex Townsend gave some great undertones to the tracks.
It was a pity the keyboard skills of Craig Burkitt didn’t come over better, but over all, as someone who was hearing them live for the first time, they’re definitely a band to watch in the future.
