I hate purity. I hate goodness. I don't want hate for Hundred Reasons to exist anywhere.
The amps are smothered with cloth, all displaying quotes from George Orwell's novel, Nineteen Eighty-four. These include "The proles are not human beings" and "Ignorance is strength", whilst the bass drum on the kit shows off "2+2=5". Have Hundred Reasons decided to adopt a new, socialist persona? It's not entirely clear.
But then again, who cares? Having seen Hundred Reasons before, I'm under the impression that they have improved a lot in the last six months. They fly through an interesting set, including a surprisingly large amount of material from their first album, "Ideas Above Our Station", despite the fact that this is a tour to promote their new album, "Shatterproof Is Not a Challenge". The crowd is left exhausted, yet satasfied with Hundred Reasons' performance, and Hundred Reasons have proven once again that Brits know how to rock, despite muscling in from the American market.
