Timberrrrr!

It's always a bum rap being the first band of the day on one of the outer stages but Fell City Girl still manage a respectable 150 or so. Despite the guitarist being 25 today they are a young looking band that give an assured performance. They overcome technical problems to deliver a competent set without being anything particularly special. The vocals are strong (although a touch whiney in places) but much of the material falls into the indie rock bracket and is unremarkable.

People filter in during the set and to their credit they get a decent reaction. The last song is rather anthemic and probably the best of the set, it shows promise but I suspect they will need more of this calibre if they are to stand out from the plethora of similar artists around at the moment.
