Money and the Masses

Money and the Masses are yet another band from the North who try and emulate the sound of Manchester's Joy Division. If that isn't bad enough the lead singer even moves around the stage like the late Ian Curtis, just in a less than successful way.

Maybe this is being a bit harsh on the Wigan lads, as their sound reminisces more of an American tone. A bit like Interpol but more whiny and less controlled. The vocals were weak and there would be a mention of some of the songs played, but it was impossible to make out the front mans drone when each one was introduced.
