A night to lose yourself in some fantastic sounds

In a small venue with a very diverse crowd, playing as one of four bands at a showcase is never an easy task. Therefore it's testament to the loyal following they're building that when Sleepercurve take to the stage they not only see a large circle of fans, but also catch the remainder of the rooms attention from the opening note and have it's approval by the end.

Singer Dan Walsh oozes passion and charm, his lyrics alternatively subtle and clear. First smoothly blending into the overall mix before switching to stand out with crystal clarity his voice caressing the sounds as they come out and the words shimmering through the room.

This is a band that knows exactly how they want you to feel and they put their hearts and souls into taking you there.

It's so easy to lose yourself in their music that you do need to refocus every so often and remind yourself that there are indeed only three of them up there filling the room with energy and soaring epic sounds that are rocking you to your core.

Tonight set blended old and new, debuting a new song that had heads nodding and bodies moving as well as a super tight version of what will be their next single 'Robots'. Closing the night with crowd favourite and incidentally my favourite of the night 'Slaves' getting everyone moving with it's strong beats and lifting energy.

Sleepercurve are a band on the verge of big things so get to a gig now so you can say you saw them when...
