Atmospheric

Lotus Mason have been raising a few eye brows with their new releases for not just the quality of musicianship but for production skills too. So the live show was eagerly anticipated by many at London's 93 Feet East.

It soon became apparent that something was not quite right, there were four band members but the lead guitarist, one of the pivotal members of any band, was not the usual band member. It transpired that normal guitarist had to have an emergency surgery to try to put in metal braces to prop up his ribcage in an effort to keep it from collapsing on his lungs. Apparently, that operation wasn't successful so they did another one which was. Pretty scary stuff and all of us here at R13 hope he is better and back rocking now. The stand in did an amazing job and quite frankly not only fitted in with the band perfectly but even managed to upstage lead singer, Blair Jollands, no easy task.

The short set was over too soon, sadly before most of the nights crowd had made their way into the venue but those that were there saw a fine polished performance of atmospheric rock, with former B Side 'Suicide On The Radio' going down a storm, maybe a future single possibility still?
