Bouncing Souls London Roundhouse

After battling past the biggest queue for a cloakroom I have ever seen, we entered the stalls, bearing in mind the doors opened more than half an hour ago and the first support are already in full swing, the venue is hardly filled to capacity.

The Bouncing Souls are the main support, Greg, Pete, Brian, Michael take to the stage, in a laid back manner, to a 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly-esqu' intro. They start the set off with Sing Along, followed by Mayhem in short succession.

You can hear people, including me, singing along, however the atmosphere is somewhat lacking, which is a shame, as The Bouncing Souls sound great tonight and are playing a really tight set.

The set continues with a few classics such as Lean on Sheena, a cover of the 1985 Misfits song Hybrid Moments and a few new tracks, including We Love Fun from their latest album Comet which is to be released on 12 June 2012.

By this point the venue is filling up with an array of people, many clad in boston and celtic sports tops, therefore it is fitting that the Bouncing Souls launch into East Coast! Fuck You! using some creative licence to change the lyrics to mention the Dropkick Murphys and Boston, which judging from the reaction is a crowd pleaser.
