All Time Low Live at Leeds
Next up are Baltimore Maryland's own version of Blink 182 in the form of four slightly immature musicians that make up All Time Low. Opening with their ever so fun and dancey Lost in Stereo which gets the crowds that are starting to gather for the afternoon now that they've awoken, feeling slightly more alive. Followed quickly by beer fuelled Stella and Dirty Work single Forget About It. Frontman Alex Gaskarth invites the crowd to the top of the ferris wheel, a joke he brings to every festival apparently having been told the same joke at T in the Park 2011 and Reading and Leeds 2010. The crowd seems to enjoy a good jump around a a dance to radio 1 favourite I Feel Like Dancin' before the bringing out of their guitar tech on his 27th birthday where the crowd sings a very loud, and very off key, rendition of 'Happy Birthday' whilst the tech takes shots in front of 40,000, not an achievement everybody can say they've completed. Once off stage and back to tech'ing duties, the four piece break out oldie Jasey Rae for the fans of the band who own the most battered copies of their early works Put Up or Shut Up before bringing it right back with newest track The Reckless and The Brave from upcoming album Don't Panic a fact released a few hours prior to the bands slot on the stage. Closing up with classic Dear Maria, Count Me In that sees both Gaskarth and guitarist Jack Barakat, lose their guitars to various technicians and head into the crowd to join the screaming fans that litter the front rows.
