A True Crossbreed
Someone asked me, the other week, how I would describe Agent Blue. I mused over the dilemma for a few days, before eventually suggesting they waited for the release of their new single ‘Crossbreed’. Not only would this give them a pretty decent taste of Agent Blue’s unique style, it would also be a few quid well spent.
It really is hard to pin Agent Blue’s sound down into a specific category- Generally, as evidenced in this release; it is powerful, beat-driven rock music. Nothing is particularly intricate, but everything fits, creating irresistibly addictive music. Distorted, echoing vocals blend with the driving backbeat and crunching guitars. If you really need comparisons, think somewhere in the middle of rock and roll, dance and punk. But preferably, just buy the single and experience it for yourself.
