The Fondas score with a dirty kick-off

Building up from a deceptive start in to a series of crescendos 'D'ya Feel Lucky?' gives range to great vocals that both overlay and are overlaid with neat guitar hooks. This number contains a cocktail of styles with shots of punk, psychedelia and good time Rock n' Roll.

'Only Love Is Left Alive' hits you with a beat that pulses through your whole body, employing some great guitar bends and almost 'Oasis' sounding vocals in comparison to 'Get Out' which heads firmly into the punk/skate style.

'Dirty Little Death Rider' has the right sleaze in its delivery that the title deserves. There is an infusion of Blues in here that is a perfect platform for The Fondas to launch their music from. And 'Strange Honey' appears to be a departure from everything else that is on offer on this album and has none of the fire and passion that is so evident in the rest of the music that The Fondas have dished up for your delight.

With its commercial style 'Heavily Sedated' has audience participation written through the chorus line like a stick of rock and then there's 'Everybody Runs'; full on, in your face music, with just enough difference for the band to be able to say they have created something individual.

It's a pity that this album has to close with a number that does nothing to enthuse the listener, apart from some competent guitar work there's not a lot to get fired up about with 'Fucked And Alone'. The song just does not have the aggression that is evident elsewhere on this album.
