It'll get you moving
The Longcut dish up a helping of musical melodies amid a pulsing rhythmic beat in 'Vitamin C'. There is a massive attack on the senses that at first leads to some confusion as to which part of the songs structure you will, or are supposed to relate to. For those that have heard the music of Yes there will certainly be echoes of the vocals used in many of their numbers and more recently comparisons can be drawn with The Music. However there's enough individuality coming through to make you realise that you have something different on your hands. The intensity of the rhythm in this song could easily lead it astray into the average dance/trance/rave camp but it is musically strong enough to avoid that. It will certainly get people moving.
