Electro floor filler
This is catchy, light-hearted electro-pop, made for dancing to. As its title suggests it has a retro feel from the Analogue age with an 80s style synth riff, but with enough digital sounds seamlessly woven in to show that Southampton based Scarlet Soho aren't stuck in the past.
Gradually building up from a sparse verse, the driving guitar in the chorus brings 'Analogue Dialogue' to a floor filling climax, and helps the band cross over from electro to indie in a similar way to The Klaxsons. With a sharply-dressed image to boot it's not surprising they were invited to join Razorlight on several tour dates last year.
Since their debut album in 2004, their steadily growing fans have seen Scarlet Soho achieve success in the UK and Europe, including a German tour as support to IAMX. This is no small feat considering Germany has played such a huge part in the electro music scene since the birth of Kraftwerk, and Scarlet Soho certainly pay homage to them in this single. However, the old is perfectly complemented by the new and Scarlet Soho know sum up the future of electro perfectly in 'Analogue Dialogue'.
