Brazillian holiday song

Imagine you're relaxing on your summer holiday, soaking up the sun and drinking cocktails at a Spanish resort. Then someone cranks up the disco for the evening entertainment and I can guarantee that they'll be playing something similar to Bonde Do Role.

Bonde Do Role are a three piece dance act from Southern Brazil who describe there sound as "funk carioca in a rockin' way". If that's your thing then you'll love it, but I just can't find a place for it in the UK music scene at the moment, except as a taster for this summer's cringe worthy holiday anthem.

'Solta O Frango' is drum machine beats, chanting in native Brazilian tongues, and a "Ooooh, hey!" chorus that you might find yourself joining in with if you've had too much sangria. It would also definitely make your head hurt the morning after. Anything that translates into 'Release The Chickens' should come with a health warning.
